Description
Eucalyptus horistes is a mallee type or small tree that is endemic to Western Australia, typically growing to a height of 8 – 12 metres. Its name derives from the Greek horistes, ‘one who marks the boundaries’, referring to its distribution at the northern limit of the South-west Botanical Province. From plantation stock this is one true Australian eucalypt that is fully sustainable. It has very high cineole with levels consistently near 90-95%. It has great medicinal properties and is effective in oral care.
